Climate Control Flaps

Bentley Page 87.27 and 87.28 show A/C vent flap controls.  They operate on
a vacuum.  Maybe you're losing vacuum under acceleration?????  Then the
15-year-old vacuum motors don't get back to their original settings after
you slow????
