Low control pressure and/or high system pressure????

  Sounds like an issue of the upper chamber not having enough pressure, or the lower too much. Did it do it all at once, or slowly get worse? 
  I wouldn't spend the $180 just yet.

It's hard to say, I was driving at a steady state on I-40 east for hours before I had to open the throttle to go up the ramp. I'm going to have to say it was gradual though, because I had noticed a small bit of rich running while driving arround town before the trip, but I tuned it out successfully. In hind-sight this was probably the begging of the end for whatever did itself in.

I'm going to check the idle switch and update you all.
