A busted idle switch can stop higher revs...
Idle switch tested good, and while I was there I checked the WOT switch. It came back with a bit of resistance when closed, in the area of .300-.400 ohms. I don't think that has much to do wit it though, as the problem happens even at throttle posistions nowhere near what is required to close it.
