bad optima battery...any other negative experiences?

The salesperson at my local battery shop which sells the Optima, claimed to
have much higher return/problem rate with them and didn't reccommend them.
I try to get a RV/Marine battery for anything that I can, but there isn't
one to fit an Audi. The RV/M doesn't have an impressive CCA (cold cranking
amps) number but they are supposed to handle running dead and vibration
better. Due to the number of vehicles in my fleet, being able to come back
from dead is good (I try not to but...)
