BTDT with mine.
Take up the carpetting in the trunk and you will see an access cover,
about a 4" diameter circle with some little tabs for opening.
My preferred "opener" was a hammer and a small block of wood wedged
against one of the tabs. DO NOT USE METAL ON METAL TO OPEN!!!!!!!
The cover also has some plumbing and the level sender attached.
Be careful with all of that.
Reach right down in and there is the pump, just unfasten it from the
little rubber standoffs it sits on.
This is best done with the smallest amount of fuel in the tank you
can manage. But it is still a FOUL job in that trunk full of fumes.
