RPM surge at Idle( solved)

This one is on me. The surging had some of the typical signs of an O2 sensor but it never caused any codes. Turns out I caused the situation. When I replace O2 sensors, I pull the pins out of the connector for the heater that is anchored in the bracket because the tab holding it in, usually breaks if I try to remove the connector. I got the pins mixed up. Why are those wires both white?
