The head is not too bad at all - it's aluminum alloy, after all. The
tough part is that it will still have the manifolds on it, and the EM is
a bit of a boat anchor. Still, two people should be fine.
You "should" use new head bolts, and remounting the EM with new hardware
and gaskets is a good idea. You can even put in a new warm air intake
plate if yours is gone... I wouldn't worry about removing the IM unless
either 1. you want to paint it or 2. a machine shop wants it out of the way.
This is a nice opportunity to clean up a lot of things that are hard to
reach, I'm sure you'll have your own "to do list."
