got my headliner in (type44)

actually i did this this past summer.   i had a headliner from a '84 5kt w/ 
sunroof (the vinyl kind, that doesnt sag - this was a one-year-only headliner 
in '84)  and i had been saving it for years.    i had posted it up FS on the 
marketplace but nobody bought it...  i am so glad i didnt sell it!     anyway 
the cloth headliner in my 86  5kT finally gave up this past summer, sagging down 
with that red sticky old foam goo  going everywhere..  i pulled the entire 
thing out board and all and put the one in from the 84.   the install was pretty 
easy, i just had to do a minor mod around the sunroof hole, there are 
actually more tabs on the 85-up style than on the 84 headliners (the 84 style uses 
tabs and glue, the 85 up style uses only tabs) but it looks great now, and its 
alot easier to clean!  

see, those old type44 parts that are taking space up in the barn actually 
have some use now and then!
