S6 fuel injector install opinions...

still working on the fuel line/fitting leak and all parts are
'repaired' and ready for reassembly. when i pulled the injectors
to reinstall into the rail, i noticed that one of my (green) tips
was broken. about 80% of the piece remains, but i was wondering if
it was possible to reinstall that injector without the tip. the tip
would seem to help 'seat' the injector and aid in spray pattern. i
could also reinstall it with the remaining part of the tip, as i'm
pretty sure it won't break any further. does anybody know if this
part is available separately? i'd hate to replace an injector
because of such a small part. thoughts?
