Killing Team Doorhandle once & for all?

Nice looking, but what's the trigger mechanism made of? Is it just the repainted metal from an old door handle? It would be nice to see some specifications, not just photos. I'm all for a better door handle, and better lubrication on the existing ones (covered in detail in the KB). The trigger lever is NOT necessarily plastic (just metal that should be classified as plastic):

I'm personally a little surprised that someone hasn't already AutoCADed these parts and made replacement triggers out of 3140 or something, with a kit and detailed instructions. I'd buy it.
