86 CGT tapping engine

Real easy to remove (I pulled mine and cleaned it up real well along
with flipping it around). The symptoms are a loud "clack" comming form
that side of the motor. All you have to do is pull the pump (bottom
nut first), disconnect its lines and voila! I left mine in as I need
the extra vac. assist. If you're gonna leave it off make a block off
plate or cap all the lines into and out of the pump, otherwise oil and
fumes will follow the vac. path.
