chirping cabin temp censor

Does anyone know how to remedy the annoying chirping sound coming from
thecenter of the dash in the vicinity of the radio, which I believe is
the cabin temp. censor. Both of my cars do it , A4 is only on left
hand cornering and urS4 is all the while when climate control fan
motor is running..Could it be an easy fix or a remove and replace
item?
