4k door handles (what else?)

Usually the widget that you move with your finger develops a crack in half
of it prohibiting the full pivoting movement to move the gizmo. After a
while of stressful movement by the stressed owner the widget breaks
completely.
When you buy a replacement handle all is fixed again.
Perhaps you can still buy a kit of new widgets and pivots to repair your
handle from

Their web site was gone so I don't know if they are still around.

Subject: 4k door handles (what else?)
Group: my '86 4kis succumbing once again to a door handle issue. The right
front door locks and unlocks fine, and opens from the inside great, but the
trigger to open the door from the outside is just a bit lazy. Looking at the
bits inside, it's all nice and lubricated, all bits moving nicely, but the
outside trigger just doesn't move the little gizmo down far enough to let
the latch open. I didn't see anything to adjust, as the rods are simply bent
to fit into the plastic parts. Any suggestions on how to get this corrected?
New parts?
