chirping cabin temp censor

the chirping does not increase or decrease with fan motor speed ,stays
at a constant level as long ast the fan is on...I'm hoping it is only
the aerator, already have one big job to do on the A4, cam chain
tensioner seal leaking oil onto the exhaust manifold...
