My understanding is that while the very sophisticated rear suspension 
on the T44 quattro controls camber real well throughout the range of 
suspension travel the front does not. Therefore, reducing roll on the 
front reduces the range of motion of the front suspension during 
cornering and as a consequence increases front grip by keeping the 
tread parallel to the road surface. Check out Scott Mockry's site. As I 
recall he has or had a dedicated T44 track car.
