disagree.  90% of torque between 2,200 and 7,600 is the claim.  this is
extremely good without a turbo, and would be pretty damn straight.  it would
also make 270nm @red-line.

with a curve like that, i'm pretty sure they could have got a peak of 400 lb
ft is they wanted bragging rights.

btw, there has been no price announced for the usa so discount the 75k
figure.

the usa model won't get the seats (lack of seat side airbags), so will have
a derivative of the s4 units.

I don't consider a 420hp 4.2L V-8 with only around 320lb-ft. of torque
to have very good torque characteristics, just looking at the raw
numbers. Anyone know what the torque curve looks like?

400hp/400lb-ft., that would be something.

Definitely a "pass" for $75k, IMO.
