Nah, it'll often lope along and even rev up ok, but be down on power and
tick. There's always the everpresent danger of the bent stem breaking
off("dropping a valve") leading to either piston/wall/head damage. Sounds a
little like a car that either popped a tbelt and someone just slapped
another one on and said ship it, or had issues beyond whatever they went
into the heads for. Unless it's:
1: a 5spd
2: quattro
3: your fav colour
4: sub 800$
I'd take a pass and keep hunting.
