2.7T v 4.2 A6

I have a PDF of some Audi engine training literature that indicates
that the S4 2.7t and the A6 2.7t differ in the ECU programming (and
the ECU can't be interchanged for some reason) and the S4 transmission
gets an oil cooler (not sure if that applies to auto or manual or
both).
