MoFoCo Rotors

Alex,
You have to replace the calipers, the carriers, and the rotors - not sure
about the pads but you'd put new ones on with the new rotors anyway. The
diameter of the rotors is the same as the solids, they're just waaaay
thicker because of the vents. If I were you, I'd price out a set of
calipers first - not all of the 200's had the towing package, and IIRC the
vented rear calipers showed up on the V8, urS4 and urS6. The used calipers
and carriers I got were from Dallas - the e-brake levers were about as
rust-free as you get. Those exposed to the salt belt will be much sketchier
when it comes to e-brake functionality. Just as a reference - Blau has the
calipers on their web site - $249 each for remanufactured (includes the core
charge you'd have to eat) and $299 each for new (inc. core charge) - plus
$80 each for the carriers. You might check www.car-part.com for used prices
for a V8 or ur-S car rear caliper from the desert or the south.
I forget what I paid a friend of mine for the new vented rotors - the eBay
price sounds in the ballpark.
Cheers!
