Shawn,
An alternative may be to swing by the shop and talk to the mechanics - ask
them to give you a call when they're putting the bush bars on one and let
them know you'd pay them something for it instead of it going out in the
scrap metal bin.
An alternative may be also to look for commonly sold parts (like a bumper)
for an ML on www.car-part.com and call the wrecking yard and ask them if
they have the skid guard.
