My car HAS a Charlie Spring. And, as I said, I do get
occasional surges, but it's been so long since I had the
cruise working, I'm going by memory. It definitely wasn't
as smooth as the S-car, but sounds better than the orignal
poster's problem. I'd agree with Robert though, since the
Charlie Spring helps ramp up boost faster, I found considerably,
the C-unit probably can't keep up. If you tightened down the
spring further, it would only exacerbate the problem.
