You mean 400 rpm, right?
The firing right up would indicte correct CSV function (it only runs a
for a fraction to a few seconds).
The rest really does point to the temp sender, although it could be
other things. Find it, remove it, and measure its resistance in ice
water and boiling water and compare to Bentley spec.
