type44 rough start and rough idle when cold.. CO off? any

Temp vs Resistance readings on my 90 100q temp sender.

You can bypass the temp sender by removing the connector from the temp
sender and bridging the connector contacts with a 4000 ohm resistor. Couple
of cents at radio shack. I think standard sizes are 4700, 4300, 3900, 3700.
Anything close will do.
If cold engine starts up and idles ok with the resistor, you have found your
problem.
