91 CQ - Adjust Temp Control Flap Potentiometer - How to Access

Not having heat in the winter kinda sucks.
It seems that I am going to need to adjust the temperature control
flap feedback potentiometer.

Does anyone know the best way to get at this part in order to do so.

My Bentley (87.46) says to remove the center section of the instrument
panel, but someone told me I can probably get to it by going in from
under the dash on the dirver's side.

Anyone BTDT ??
