4kq bearing question

     .....Or, 'one of these things is not like the other.'   I'm doing a 
suspension rehab on my '87 4kq.  Front bearings are ~20k old, replaced by me 
when I got the car.  Just did the rears in prep to re-install everything.  
The issue is that one of the front units (a spanish SKF if it matters) is 
stiff to turn.  Smooth, but significantly stiffer than the other 20k front 
and either of the new rears.    What gives?  Easy enough to swap it out, but 
I'd rather have $20 worth of Bell's Porter...
