200T screaming bearing close to the tranny

Try pulling the dipstick with the engine running (be aware, if the car
is running
well, it WILL stall, which means minimal vacuum leaks). As you pull the stick,
listen for the screaming sound. If it stops IMMEDIATELY and SIMULTANEOUSLY
to when you pull the stick (or matches things if you alternately pull
the stick out
and reinstall (no jokes, PULEEZE ;-) ), then it's possible you've got a leaking
rear main seal, which would be an expensive fix (you MUST drop the tranny or
pull the engine to get to it.) .
