If your tape player has an audio line out jack, and your
PC sound card has a line in jack, you can feed the audio
from the tape player into your computer and record it to
disk. Then it's just a matter of burning the sound files
to CDs or to an MP3 player, which can feed your car stereo.
PC sound cards with line in and line out are cheap enough.
