AFAIK this only applies to the Wiesbaden, which was made by Panasonic.
You could actually change the code on these, they ALL came from the
factory with the 1111 code. IMHO the worst of the coded radios, you get
6 tries and it locks up for good and turns into a doorstop.
Doesn't apply to any of the other coded OEM head units, which come with a
permanent factory code that can't be changed. Good thing is that you can
try as many times as you have to, just leave the radio powered for a
while after 3 attempts to get 3 more for as long as it takes, at least
that's how it works on the Blaupunct models.
