Ur-Q Intake Air Boot WAS Re: UrQ WAUDC0856DA900424

Following this thread and looking at the pictures, I was wondering two things,
really.

First, I've seen this before on other Ur-Qs and I'm wondering why it seems to be
the only turbocharged Audi from that era to have such a different kind of boot
on the intake air horn on the fuel distributor assembly?  What's it made of?  Why is it so different from every other Audi intake boot I've seen?

Second, because I've done this before with an eBay auction (for brake rotors)...and now I feel a little guilty...while the Audifans policy on eBay listings is very clear, and I understand why it exists, isn't there some way we can accomodate referring people to eBay auctions for the purposes of asking the List for opinions on a car and/or parts?   eBay is so large that occasionally interesting auctions DO come up there, and not everyone selling an Audi in the world realizes that Audifans exists.  On the other hand, I really don't mind being referred to an eBay auction that might help me, by reading about it here.  So is there some kind of accomodation we can make other than saying, point blank, that you must NEVER post an eBay URL to an Audifans forum?  Personally, if there's a good Audi on eBay I'd rather someone from the List buy it anyway... ;)
