4000Q Stalls when I let off the gas

Look at the vacuum hose that connects to the ISV. While the engine is
running, they tend to collapse due to the vacuum suction. Over time, it will generate
a vacuum leak. You can usually find it split on the side you can't see. The
crack/split will be facing the intake manifold. The part number for that vacuum
hose is 034 133 997. This has happened to me before on my 87' 4000cs Q. I
have since eliminated the rubber vacuum hose for one I made out of stainless
steel tubing. No more collapsed vacuum hose!
