84 4ksq Timing Belt Catastrophe...HELP!

Regarding the locking of the crank pully, someone on this list suggested 
using a generic 'spring bar' type of prybar.  I got my chinese unit for the 
princely sum of $3.99.  I little snaggletoothed after a couple uses but 
still serviceable...
