If the 5K Euro lights are like the 200's, the lenses (front
glass portion) can be replaced without changing the reflector
(rear portion).  I think a replacement lens was about US$45-50
last time I checked.

With any plastic film covering, I'd be afraid of heat cracking
the lens, especially with 80/100W bulbs.
