Chris,

Sounds like the lock rod (plastic connector) popped off the door handle
pivot.. If that's the case you should still be able to unlock with the door
lock knob.. If indeed it is the plastic connector ensure that the plastic
"cap" that snaps on the top is good, without the clip it will not stay on
the pivot very well.

If it's something else let me know... Have a parts car that has the door
panels off and can access rods, etc. (Been working on my own lock issues)
Once the panels off it's fairly easy to figure out how it all works!
