4kq intermittent electrical problems after alternator/battery replacement

The other day I was messing with the window switches on my wife's 4kq right
after she came back from driving it and a window wouldn't close.  The
radiator fan was running when I got into the car, but when I turned the
switch to "on" without starting the engine, the fan would go off.  Happened
repeatedly until I got the window working again (need to clean those
switches).  

So the fan also must go through that relay, eh?
