sagging roof liner

There should have been a gazillion postings about this issue. Generally
speaking, the solution is to remove the liner and the board it's glued to
because there is a foam interface on the board that is failing with age.
In other words, there is no easy "fix". I kept the liner off my head in a
SAAB years ago by sticking straight pins into it here and there to keep it
up. Others have reported installing ribs like those stretched across boats
to hold up their covers.
