Miricle oil additive?

FWIW, when I bothered to autocross the 200Q a few times (dunno why
'cept bit by the bug, miss the old GTi), I was using both M1 and
Syntec. Had tap with either oil, but it was MUCH worse with the
Syntec, it was louder, lasted longer, etc. A cool down with the M1,
the tap went away. A trip to home and to the store with the Syntec,
then it FINALLY went away. I personally won't use Syntec.
LL - NY 95.5 S6, M1, autocrossed once, no tap
'89 200Q, M1, no more autocross, no tap
