89 200 Turbo SAGA goes on ... Clogged Catalytic Converter?

Hi,

You can check a clogged cat converter by measuring the exhaust back pressure
at about 2500 RPM, a rise in back pressure above 2K RPM indicates clogging.
This happened to me once as a result of my engine drinking coolant and it
literally took over a year to diagnose.

HTH.

Cheers!
