Hi there,
I need following information:
What kind of signal give early style sensor, I identify it as hall efect sensor, but I have no idea if it is 5v signal which falls to 0 once per rotation, or is it 0v signals which rises to 5v once per rotation.
A day ago I bought a replacement tranny for my '85 Audi 200 FWD, but It comes from '93 Audi Coupe B4 (newer, lighter, shorter, and may be stronger). Also my speedo sensor was broken, so I haven't speedo&odometer for last few months. So for these reason I think that I may use speedo sensor that is mount on these tranny that I bought. I know that it is reed contact switch, so I may produce some kind of additional electronic converter which will take switching signal from reed contact, and produce 0-5V signal, in order to use my original speedo unit.
