My method works great. I leave my doors unlocked. If somebody wants
something inside my car they can open the door and take it, that way I only
have to replace that item rather then that item AND a window ;-). On that
note though, the only thing in my car that I consider expensive is the CD
player, and with the face off they usually dont try. I had somebody once
empty the change (maybe $5) out of my ash tray and glove box, fine with me
and I thank them for putting all of my paperwork back when they were done.
When I leave my car parked for any long period of time (movies included) I
just put my megasquirt in my pocket or drop it in the trunk, though you dont
have that luxury unfortunately.
