Thanks to my public broadcaster over here, I only get to watch the race
around 11PM. So I turn it on and I'm stoked to hear Schumacher is out in
front and some 10-15 laps in he is already lapping back-markers.
Bloomin' excellent!
So a few laps go by and they're still focusing on the Ferraris.
And then another few laps.
Oh, look, a Jordan.
What the...?
Guess I shouldn't go drinking on Saturdays and miss the whole story
that's been going on.
This is pathetic stuff, really. Michellin are going to be held
accountable for this. They're so good that all but 2 to 3 teams run
their tyres, then this nonsense. How do you build a 220MPH capable tyre
that just can't hold up on a 9-degree banking?
Michellin is overpriced anyway. So are bridgestone. Never had problems
with Goodyears (ran NCTs on the old 100). I'm gonna get me set of
Falkens. :)
This whole "sport" is turning into nonsense.
