Making a blink code decoder

Try an LED from Radio Shack or other electronics store.
Get one with the built-in resistor.  That's all there is
to it.  Maybe tin the ends of the wires, or add wires for
length, or solder small spade connectors on it (I used a
U-shaped connector with one leg cut off).
