they are a great car, but the '97 is a mixed bag, watch out for transmission
issues (hunting) particularly.  1997 was the 1st year of import to the usa
(i assume you are from there), 1st produced in 1994 or there-abouts in
europe.  according to your vin, the car is a march 1997 car, model year 1997
about 9 months into import to the usa.

So what do you guys think about this car? Is it a great deal that I shouldnt
turn down or am I flirting with a possible money pit.

Never had an Audi with less than 100K miles or newer than an '89.  I wonder
if its broke in good yet???
