Used 4.2L A6's going cheap-what's up?

used A6 4.2s are the best deal going right now. The new 10K premium over
a std A6 for the 'option' is essentially ignored in the wholesale
market, so they go at only a slight premium over a 2.8 or a 2.7tt. Your
only issue would be fighting with the insurance company if you had an
accident and it was totaled - because that premium is ignored there too...
