Difficulty starting - '90 80

Thanks for the help guys. The patient ran fine yesterday when my friend
went to check on it on the way to work. Ran it for 5 minutes or so with
no problems. He was going to attempt driving it home last night. I'll
find out this morning if he made it home with no problems.

The heavy rains we had Monday can't be discounted. Though I don't think
they were affecting the ignition system as it never had a problem
starting. Maybe the fuel pump relay was being affected by moisture,
though I thought the relay box was fairly well isolated from the
elements. Maybe that was causing it to overheat? Stretching here.
That might explain the consistency of shutting down in 5 secs.

My friend will be replacing fuel pump (noisy), fuel filter, and I'll
recommend he also get a spare FP relay.

Thanks again for all the input.

Bob
