Right way to disassemble distributor

What you describe is what I did to mine.  Push out the pin, and pull
everything out the top once the gear piece is off.

I was never able to find a replacement Hall Sensor, although I was in
a rush as the car was dead.  I did see that there are two distributors
for the 5ktq series, neither of which has a rebuild kit.  As I recall,
there was a rebuild kit for an older 4kq distributor, but I was unable
to ascertain if the Hall Sensor board is the same as the 5ktq's.

So, have you found any Hall Sensor replacements, or are you just looking? :-)
