CarFax Available

Although a total loss would (should?) be reported by CarFax, simple repairs
are not.
They are not reported to DMV, so CarFax doesn't report them.

Yep, I've had that problem too. My 91 200q20v has a perfectly clean carfax.
Yet I have receipts of repair work done by insurance claim (previous owner)
for a new trunk lid and front fender (two different small incidents). Still,
at $900 for the fender and something outrageous for the trunk lid, they
should have shown up on carfax. Someone should buy my car, buy the carfax
guarantee, and cash in on it :o)
