Battery Recommendations (and where to buy) with Vent Hoze

Try Interstate Batteries. I have been using these batteries for 20 years.
Their web site has a wealth of information about batteries, which you wont
find on other battery sites. I like any company that provides technical
information for their products. It tells me they have nothing to hide.

I purchased a battery from:

I needed a battery in my truck when I was up there for a visit. The guy was
great. I called him. He checked to see what battery I needed. He checked his
stock and reserved the battery for me.
When I got there, he tested my old battery with an interesting handheld
tester. This battery tester came up with the exact failure mode that I was
experiencing with the battery. Pretty neat gizmo.

The prices are competetive with other brands. You can shop around at the
retailers(listed on the web site) for best  price, but I found going to the
distributor was best. His price was no higher than the lowest retailer. Plus
the distributor has the stock and the testing equipment.
The prices listed on the web pages are list prices, call around for the
retail price.
