It's getting chilly in here.....

So I've started using the heat in my 4kcsq on a regular basis, and
i've decided it's time to take a look at the center dash vents. They
will only blow cold(fresh) air, regardless of how the thermostat is
set or the vents are positioned. I think it may be one of the control
cables is disconnected or broken. Sound correct? If so were do i need
to start loooking. I didn't want to tear the dash apart with out
getting some second opinions first.
