Inconsistent fuel delivery

Try looking at the pressurized fuel storage container which is right after
the fuel pump- could also be the check valve in the output port of the pump.
Bentley tells how to check all this stuff- I made my own pressure gauge out
of some old VW banjo fittings and a compression gause- works good enough to
tell what's going on.
