[A4] Clutch woes...

I don't know about clutch upgrades (I have AT). I was just thinking that for
the home mechanic renting a hoist and removing the engine might be easier,
but I just stumbled across this:

http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng48.shtml (clutch replacement)

http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng.shtml (A4 tech index)

You can also do a search there for clutch upgrade. There seems to be a lot
of talk about modifications/upgrades on that site's news forum.

Yep, thanks for that Arthur. I'm aware that it's a pretty big job, but
is it on par with the timing belt etc, because I managed that one OK.
Although, I suppose clearance from the underneath would be the issue
and I don't have ready access to a pit....

Oh well, will probably buy the parts and have somebody else install
them....still waiting for recommendations?

Regards to all,

Nick
